One of the most basic desires for us as human beings is to be involved in meaningful relationships, for several key reasons: we want companionship, we want a bond of trust, and we want to know that the other person will stick around when the going gets tough. Oh, right, and we want that giddy, high, “in-love” feeling, too.

I’d be willing to bet that you hadn’t even considered that a “bond of trust” was actually possible with your IT person, but it is; and maintaining a meaningful relationship with our clients is one of the things Edge Solutions does best.

Most of my clients think they’re only hiring Edge Solutions because they need someone to come in, manage their equipment and keep their data safe. They don’t realize that our partnership with them in reaching their goals also plays a big part in the success of their IT department.

Yes, a huge part of my work is my expertise in the area of information technology. I have over 20 years of experience in this industry, so I know what I’m doing (and so does my staff).

But there’s a difference between an IT staff that has knowledge of what they’re doing and an IT staff that has a complete grasp of what each individual client needs and how to tailor their work to fit the customer.

Longevity & The Love High
My business exists because of repeat customers, simple as that. Most of my clients have been with Edge Solutions for over 15 years: they know that we’ll be there when it’s time for an upgrade, we’ll be there when it’s time to redesign the work flow, and we’ll be there in the highly unusual case of a late-night emergency. We’re in it for the long haul.

In my opinion, “the love high” between an IT company and a client begins to emerge from consistently excellent work and clear communication.

If one of my employees makes a mistake (which sometimes happens, because we’re only human), the first thing I do after rectifying the error is find a way to make it up to my customer.
